Glucose levels, and how carbohydrates are a contributing factor in regard to weight gain, is what this diet is all about. With this particular program, food having a lower GI number, on a scale of one to 100, is the goal. How this is helpful, especially if you suffer from hypoglycemia or diabetes, is that it can help you monitor your blood sugar levels.
